prototype
SizeWise
Body measurements from phone photos, using SMPL-X body model fitting.
Idea
SizeWise estimates body measurements from ordinary phone photos.
Approach
- Detect the person and estimate pose and shape from the photos.
- Fit an SMPL-X parametric body model to those estimates.
- Read measurements such as chest, waist, and inseam directly off the fitted 3D mesh.
Stack
PyTorch, SMPL-X, Python.
